Laboratory Services

SMEA Laboratories are equipped with approved facilities such as the CNC CMMs (the largest being 2m x 1m x 0.7m), Hardness Testers (Rockwell, Vickers and Brinnell), Universal Tensile Testing Machines, a Humidity Test Chamber, A Clean Room (for precision measurements and calibration activities), facility for Microstructural Examination and facility for Chemical Testing & Analysis. The NDI Laboratory is also equipped with 2 x MPI machines, 1 x FPI line, both of which are approved to Nadcap standards.
