A New Building Space for SMEA

The former AUG rifle manufacturing building has just been cleaned up and repainted ready to accept new civil aircraft programmes. This building with floor space of 3600 sq ft has been earmarked for the final assembly and painting of aircraft major aerostructural components.

NB: SMEA is no longer involved in the defence manufacturing business since 2006. All buildings and work areas previously associated with the defence business are now being gradually converted for the international civil aircraft parts manufacturing business which is currently the core focus for SMEA.
